  • To encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred Yorkshire Terriers and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.

  • To urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which the Yorkshire Terrier shall be judged.

  • To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience trials and tracking tests.

  • To Conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows, obedience trials and tracking tests under the rules of the American Kennel Club.

YTC of GKC Summer Picnic!

July 18th, 11:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.

Mega-raffle, EVERY member is asked to bring at least one donated item!

FUN MATCH/FASHION SHOW

All members MUST enter!

Yorkies judged on creativity, originality, beauty and ability to walk in costume!!

Classes will be as follows:

3-6 Month: Pups r'Us

6-9 Month: Cruisin' Wear

9-12 Month: High Stylin'

Open: Formal Wear

Major pointed dogs exhibition only

Club will provide meat & drinks

Bring a side or hot dish & dessert!

For those who think air conditioning and toilets aren't a real picnic, 2000 ants will be released for your pleasure!
